The SDS Gents Scholarship is an open opportunity of a one-
time payment to documented enrolled scholars in at least 1
accredited HBU, community college, or technical/vocational
school.

THE APPICATION ELIGIBILITY

• Be a scholar in the DFW metroplex/
surrounding areas graduating Senior
completing the Foundation
Graduation Plan with an
endorsement.
• Have a minimum of 2.5 unweighted
GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Have applied to an accredited
college, university, or community
college.
• The submission two letters of
recommendations.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Two letters of recommendation
(One from a community and the
other a staff member)
Evidence of community service,
leadership, and extracurricular
participation.
An essay of 200 to 500 words being
either or a narrative or expository.
